Position Description

What are the responsibilities of the Distribution Clerk? 

The Distribution Clerk performs clerical duties including photocopying, compiling records, filing, tabulating, posting information, handling phone calls and distributing mail, applies knowledge of department policies and procedures and utilizes knowledge of the organization and various functions to respond to inquiries or direct work, maintain records, prepares forms and reports, verifies information, and resolves routine problems, provides customer service support as needed and performance of other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications

Position Essentials:

• 1- 2 years of administrative or clerical experience required.

• Ability to make decisions to fulfill the daily operational task of the RDC.

• Excellent mathematical skills.

• Must have excellent PC Skills: Word and Excel.

• Experience working with a print que is a plus.

• Must be able to work overtime as needed.

• Able to periodically lift-up to 50 pounds.

• Previous experience working in a Receiving Department preferred, not required

• Educational Requirements: High School Degree or equivalent.
