Job Description

Responsible for managing the print production process for all print vehicles including circulars, direct mail, catalogs and POP kits to ensure high quality, cost effective and timely production. Responsible for the Marketing Management System (MMS) for our circular program which houses all circular information for our retailers, quantity, distribution method, costs, etc. Independently monitors and audits the vendor invoices and manages all circular billing with IT and members. Resolves any disputes/issues with retailer billing. Develops and manages production schedules for circular, point of purchase kits for our Bargains of the Month (BOM), Features of the Month (FOM) programs and related schedules.

Position Description

  • Manages the print production workflow for circulars, direct mail, catalogs, and POP material working with creative team and outside vendors to ensure high quality and deadlines are met.
  • Manages final electronic press run configurations, print order, pagination and versioning reports for our circular program. Manages billing to members, reports and queries relating to billing for marketing programs. Manages participation & distribution reports for solo and shared mail, and circular customization to the printer and various mail providers as needed for each circular. Responsible for all data input into MMS for circular events, specification, versions, price to members and production dates, including all accessory events and manages rollover process. Proactively suggest changes and process improvements to streamline workflows.
  • Oversees and directs the production process, approvals and schedules and for all Rewards direct mail campaigns, including letter-shop and postage optimization responsibilities. Primary contact for approvals and quality control. Attend quality assurance press checks as needed. Manages and schedules workflow and versions for TVR, Loyalty program.
  • Oversees process for list management, printing, and shipping Point of Purchase Sign Kits and Monthly Advisor Mailings using outsourced vendors.
  • Responsible for project quoting & procurement of print for marketing collateral. Monitors process throughout production with printer & customer from release to final delivery.
  • Backs up Manager, Advertising & Publishing Production, Print & Digital as needed.

Position Qualifications

Minimum Type and Years of Related Experience Required:

  • Five to seven years of related experience required
  • Knowledge of Print process, color management, proofing, press checks and postal regulations
  • Expert on all Microsoft Office Suite Software
  • Must have been the associate actually doing the work. Experience Critical
  • Competent or Knowledgeable on Business Objects
  • Competent or Knowledgeable about Access
Minimum Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Printing/PreMedia or Marketing or equivalent work experience
