This individual will also definte the processes for on-going monitoring and management to be executed by their direct reports.

This individual will be responsible for developing the models and processes that determine and manage the deployment of product from vendors to RDCs by evaluating the cost/service trade-offs and implicaitons of all available alternatives.

This individual will manage a team of Senior Analysts that perform cross-functional analysis that drives decisions in the Network Optimization program. This includes sub-initiatives such as Inbound Flow Optimization, strategic Hub & Spoke decision making, Central Ship Optimization, and JDA Replenishment, among others. Strategy & Process Design:

  • Design the overall Stocking Strategy & Process. Build sophisticated models with crossfunctional input and alignment leveraging JDA Demand, JDA Replenishment, Transportation Systems/Info, Warehouse Operations Systems/Info, and S&OP outputs. Ensure the optimal total cost/service solution is implemented when evaluating trade-offs between Transportation, Operations, and Inventory Management that will have substantial impacts to budgets and goals within those functional groups. This leader must clarify the frequency, goals and time horizon for on-going reviews/updates, and will define the standard templates required for maintaining a consistent process. Furthermore, the owner will outline how the Stocking Strategy process will align with already-existing processes, such as new item setup, purchase order timing, transportation planning, and warehouse operations planning.
  • Develop and manage a new Seasonal Stocking Strategy within the construct of the new hub and spoke evironment.
