Job Description

This position supports all IT technical aspects of a Regional Distribution Center (RDC) operations. The primary focus is maintaining control tables within local Warehouse Management System (WMS), supporting all Distribution Users IT technical requirements, and maintaining all hardware required for RDC operations. Additional responsibilities include maintaining local Labor Management Systems (LMS) and all supporting systems and programs required to maintain Industrial Engineering Labor Standards (ELS) utilizing Industrial Engineering principles.

Position Description

  • Manage WMS systems and control tables resulting in successful operational efficiencies including regular reviews, supporting User requests, and completing scheduled maintenance on all assigned programs.
  • Maintenance of all RDC operational hardware and supported IT technologies including Voice Pick systems, thin client terminals, and RF scanning equipment.
  • Provide onsite support for Labor Management Systems through continuous reviews and sustaining Industrial Engineering Labor Standards methodlogies by utilizing Industrial Engineering principles and support.
  • Audit critical IT systems and controls through a formal Check report process with ownership and accountability to achieve target thresholds.
  • Regularly meets with General Operation Manager, RSC Supply Chain Teams, andWarehouse Department heads to review and discuss opportunites for Systemenhancements and improvements. Ensures follow through and execution of all Customer commitments.
  • Supports all assigned initiatvies across all phases of implementation including solution design, analysis, development, planning, communication, and implementation.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 
  • PC Skills: Working knowledge of MS Office Programs and Windows Programs. Ability to handle computer and RF hardware for setup, updates, & installation.
  • Previous experience working with WMS & RF.  Voice pick is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Industrial Engineering principles.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written. 
  • Decision-making, problem-solving and analytical skills are a must.
