Job Description

The IT Supplier Program Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining effective supplierrelationships with technology suppliers within the Office of IT Governance and Operations. This position will support the IT Governance & Operations Director as a point of contact for our strategic suppliers – outsourcing, services, software, hardware, and telecom. This position will act as a liaison between the suppliers and internal groups including Production Operations (Infrastructure), Legacy Systems (Applications), and Strategic Programs. They are responsible for ensuring that the suppliers meet or exceed the contracted services, measuring performance against Service Level Agreements (SLA), managing the contracts, and coordinating supplier activity to meet current and future operational requirements and project needs in alignment with IT and Corporate goals. responsible for fostering supplier relationships in an evolving environment including increase and decrease in scope of services with the suppliers, and implementing strategies to benchmark and transition services between suppliers as required.

Position Description

  • Acts as the primary point of contact that supports governance for external IT suppliers, must build and maintain effective working relationships to both internal and external stakeholders. Acts as a facilitator for supplier engagements between various levels of supplier contacts with IT Operations, Legal, Indirect Procurement, Business Relationship Managers and Service Tower Leads. Ensure continuous of services provided by IT suppliers under management.
  • Maintains various plans including: supplier contracts, account management, service improvement and commercial resolution. Participate in the mapping of the assigned suppliers into the overall supplier ecosystem and ensure these suppliers engage and embrace the company's multi-supplier model. Engage with suppliers to create and maintain supplier profile and dashboard.
  • Maintain and execute supplier governance package including: face off chart, meeting cadence, project portfolio, change management and best practices. Drive the dispute resolution process and enforce root cause analysis through process with operations teams. Communicate findings and improvements to IT Operations Teams.
  • Analyze cost and financial risk in support of original business case. Seek and negotiate contract improvements where possible and participate in performance management process. Monitor supplier performance against goals via supplier management and financial management & governance tools and related reporting methodologies (dashboards, Key Performance Indicators, (KPI's) and SLA reporting) and initiate corrective action.
  • Represent IT Governance position as the customer. Act as the supplier advocate for new business and innovation. Participate in supplier selections and negotiations with Legal and Indirect Procurement.
  • Manage and coordinate with Project/Program Managers the TV RFX process utilizing SmartGEP Sourcing Tool.

Position Qualifications

Minimum Type and Years of Related Experience Required:

  • Five to seven years of experience in managing supplier relationships, supplier contracts, and supplier negotitions
  • Proven ability to work in collaboration with service providers, building and developing effective service provider relationships
  • Knowledge of IT industry, IT processes, IT program/project management practices, ITIL best practices, and the various types of supplier contracts in both the IT applications and infrastructure space. Experience should include Hardware, Software, Maintenance, Professional Services, Cloud Services (SaaS) and Request For Proposal (RFP), Request For Information (RFI), and Request For Quote (RFQ).
  • Ability to establish and document processes, guidelines and policies, and to prioritize and work on multiple tasks delivering high quality results
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate with carious levels within the organization and with external parties
  • Experience in negotiating all levels of contracts
Minimum Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
