Job Description

The HRIS Analyst maintains and organizes human resources information within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

Position Description

  • Creates standard and ad hoc queries or reports. Create dashboards and summaries. Identify trends and perform sophisticated analytics. Provides data summaries or statistical analysis for use in strategic planning or decision-making
  • Support the overall HR Function and Shared Services by assisting in the administration of centralized employee activities, including terminations; internal transfers; promotions and increase processing. Follows established procedures for updating, validating, and correcting employee records or other related HR data
  • Use HR data to collect, enter, audit, analyze and produce reports and metrics for compliance analysis and decision-making (i.e. EEO Reports)
  • Collaborate with HR teams in on projects providing supports data and analytics
  • Partner with Payroll, IT, and Ultimate software support teams to troubleshoot issues and assist with the installation of new programs, updates, etc. Become the subject matter expert on how the HRIS system works. Assist in the development of HR systems tools in the department; work on system upgrades, conversions and HR process improvements
  • Establish and maintain HR data processes and document specifications, data requirements, workflows, integration points, etc. Recommend process/ service improvements that increase automation, efficiency, and/or quality
  • Prepares end-user documentation or training materials as needed. Generate affirmative action and EEO 1 reports
  • Support administration of compensation activities such as Annual Merit Review, merit planning, Incentive program administration,

Position Qualifications

Minimum Years of Related Experience Required:

  • One to three years of related experience required
  • Proficient in excel, powerpoint, solid grasp of analytics, metrics, data and statistics
  • Solid working knowledge of Ultipro and Cognos reporting tools
  • Expert knowledge of Access databases Minimum Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
