Job Description

As a Production Designer at True Value, you will support our creative team to effectively create and produce digital assets including social media, banner ads, video content intergration, email marketing campaigns and much more! As a member of the creative team, your responsibility will be working directly with our creative team and channel planners, marketing managers to produce final files. This is a design position balanced with technical skills.

Position Description

  • Produces digital marketing materials monthly such as banner ads, email, social posts etc.
  • Creates page layouts and master templates, makes type and art corrections. Digitally enhances artwork and photography including image manipulation, background adjustments and silhouettes. Adheres to quality, accuracy and deadlines. Ability to prepare digital files for release. Works with Sr Designer, AD and CD on standardizing templates and style guides.
  • Designs various social media posts, banner ads per direction from Art Director
  • Electronically converts/delivers images, logos & vidoes upon request from the creative team, associates, outside agencies and vendors. Provides support for the Dam by uploading images, logos & vidoes. Supports Design by downloading image/assets and making available to the team. Designs and updates video content.
  • Backs up Print Production Artist as needed.

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in Advertising, Communications, Marketing, Production, or Design.
  • Strong understanding of Pantone, CMYK and RGB color spaces
  • Knowledge of digital file preparation, Social media templates and Video formats
  • Working knowledge of FTP, Dropbox, WeTransfer and other digital file transmission
  • Working knowledge of Prepress concepts such as imposition, color separation, trapping, preflight and pdf workflow
  • Must be proficient utilizing Mac OS. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows important.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) in a production environment required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Premiere Pro, Adobe Acrobat Professional preferred
