Job Description

 Performs routine, varied, and complex clerical operational duties in accordance with standard procedures and in support of facility operating needs in the Allentown RDC.

Position Description

• Performs data entry utilizing spreadsheets and various operating software; performs calculations, runs reports processes paperwork.
• Performs clerical duties including photocopying, compiling records, filing, tabulating, posting information, handling phone calls and distributing mail.
• Applies knowledge of department policies and procedures and utilizes knowledge of the organization and various functions to respond to inquiries or direct work.
• Maintains records, prepares forms, verifies information, and resolves routine problems.
• Provides customer service support as needed.
• Acquires specialized knowledge in various areas of the operations; performs other duties as assigned.

*This position will report to the Inventory Department. For this position, candidate must be able to obtain an equipment certification and use the following equipment on a routine basis: cherry picker and forklift. May be required to operate other equipment as needed. The position will have primary responsibility to our off-site location, storage trailers, and outside reserves. The candidate will be responsible for problem solving resolution and route cause analysis for any and all inventory adjustments pertaining to these areas along with cycle counting, damage adjustments, and other work as assigned by supervisor.

Position Qualifications

• Education requirements: H.S. diploma or equivalent.
• Years of related experience: 3-5 years customer service and/or office clerical experience preferred.
• Computer skills required: Basic data entry, Excel, and Word. Additional Qualifications:
• Good oral, written and telephone communication skills.
• Ability to perform multiple assignments while meeting assigned deadlines. • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem solving ability.
• Ability to effectively handle sensitive or emotional customer contact situations with a positive and helpful attitude.
