True Value Manufacturing, a leading manufacturer of architectural paints, aerosols, solvents and paint applicators has an immediate opening for a Regulatory Specialist in our Cary, IL manufacturing facility.

The successful candidate will support the Regulatory Team’s efforts to ensure that all areas of the company are in full compliance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements. Will work closely with the Regulatory Compliance Manager and Regulatory Dept. staff to maintain records, procedures and programs to minimize environmental risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by performing the following duties.

Position Description

• Maintains and updates Safety Data Sheets using SDS Software to ensure GHS compliance.
* Assists with preparation of technical documentation for management's use when dealing with regulatory agencies and other internal/external needs.
* Maintains regulatory files and data bases
* Performs other duties, as assigned

Position Qualifications

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor degree in Environmental, Biology, Chemistry or equivalent work experience.
* Experience in environmental & regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment a plus.
* Possess proficient understanding of widely used PC applications(word processing & spreadsheets. * Working knowledge of SDS compliance software.

* Relies upon data and a clear process when making recommendations.
* Follows basic procedures with little need to vary routine; escalates issues outside of known procedures.
* Know when and how to ask for help.
