Position Description

Responsibilities (May perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned).

  1. Creates standard and ad hoc queries or reports. Creates dashboards and summaries. Identifies trends and performs sophisticated analytics. Provides data summaries or statistical analysis for use in strategic planning or decision-making.
  2. Supports the overall HR Function and Shared Services by assisting in the administration of centralized employee activities, including terminations; internal transfers; promotions and increase processing. Follows established procedures for updating, validating, and correcting employee records or other related HR data.
  3. Uses HR data to collect, enter, audit, analyze and produce reports and metrics for compliance analysis and decision-making (i.e., EEO Reports)
  4. Collaborates with HR teams on projects providing supports data and analytics.
  5. Partners with Payroll, IT, and Ultimate software support teams to troubleshoot issues and assist with the installation of new programs, updates, etc. Is the subject matter expert on how the HRIS system works. Assists in the development of HR systems tools in the department, works on system upgrades, conversions and HR process improvements.
  6. Establishes and maintains HR data processes and documents specifications, data requirements, workflows, integration points, etc. Recommends process/ service improvements that increase automation, efficiency, and/or quality.
  7. Prepares end-user documentation or training materials as needed. Generates affirmative action and EEO 1 reports.
  8. Supports administration of compensation activities such as Annual Merit Review, merit planning, Incentive program administration.

Position Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Access database, SQL, and solid grasp of analytics, metrics, data and statistics
  • Solid working knowledge of HRIS Systems and reporting tools
  • Strong communication and time management skills
