The Category Operations Analyst role is centralized within the Merchandising Operations area and is focused on supporting the Category Vendor Teams while being the main point of contact for assortment maintenance processes such as item set up, vendor set up, reporting and analytics.

Position Description

Responsibilities (May perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned).

1. Supports department strategy.
2. Maintains execution of new and existing item maintenance (Vendor Managed Database) and ensures accuracy of new product data.
3. Provides tactical support of the line review process through stakeholder management.
4. Updates discontinued and substitute/referral items.
5. Conducts item maintenance for line review process & assortment strategy. Maintains all item maintenance related to Reunions (tradeshows). Inputs new vendor set-up in relevant systems.
6. Analyzes data to identify opportunities to drive business decisions.
7. Liaises with vendors to resolve issues.
8. Helps drive continuous improvement of business systems and processes.
9. Sets and meets deadlines per internal and external customer expectations.

Position Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1-2 years of experience
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Travel may vary in length and duration.
