Salary range is from $16.00 to $20.75 based upon experience and skills.

You will be responsible for performing general maintenance duties inside and outside the warehouse to maintain the building and adjacent ground in a clean, orderly and secure manner.

Position Description

Key Responsibilities and Tasks: • Picks up boxes and other debris in the building, empties trash cans, and consolidates trash for compactor or pickup • Charges and changes batteries on mechanical lift equipment • Set up, arrange, and remove furniture to prepare facilities for events such as training and meetings • Operates waste compactor, fork-lift, auto sweeper, snow blower, and lawn mower • Mow and trim lawns and shrubbery, using mowers and hand and power trimmers, and clear debris from grounds. • Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, using snowplows, snow blowers, and snow shovels, and spread snow melting chemicals • Perform miscellaneous tasks such as painting walls, replacing light bulbs and ceiling tiles and restocking supplies. • Perform other duties as required

Position Qualifications

• Must have good attendance, and attention to detail • Must have ability and be willing to learn to operate material handling equipment in an efficient and safe manner. • Must have ability to stand and walk 8 hours a day, lift up to 60 pounds and periodically work at heights up to 25 feet off the ground. • Must have ability to learn new functions, processes and methodoligies in written and verbal format. • Must successfully pass a pre-employment test for basic english reading comprehension and basic arithmetic. • Must successfully pass a post-offer drug test and a background verification of I-9 status, past employment, and criminal conviction history.
