The Ecommerce and Parcel Logistics Analyst is responsible for the forecasting, data analytics, and support of growth initiatives. True Value's transportation team is an entrepreneurial team focused on collaborating & developing competitive solutions while delivering growth initiatives within North America for True Value Company and ecommerce retailers. 

This role would require the ability to work & normalize large data sets using a variety of tools, techniques, and frameworks to support the leadership team in drawing logical conclusions and driving toward continuous improvement. Key activities will include interaction with both internal & external partners to support parcel programs and key initiatives which may include zone skipping, support of selection & implementation of parcel TMS system, and implementation of right sized packaging selection for warehouses. 

In addition to ecommerce and parcel solutions, this role collaborates with True Value Company's Domestic Transportation team and will assist with project based work to aid in delivering departmental budgets. 

Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (in order of importance):

• Manage communication with vendors and ecommerce retailers.
• Reviewing and preparation of data, management and building of parcel dashboards, and other analytical responsibilities.
• Support of parcel program initiatives.
• Domestic transportation departmental support. 

Position Qualifications

Work Experience:

• One to three years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Federal and State transportation regulations
• Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Strong analytical background/experience
• Lawson & AS400 experience preferred

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in technical field (Merchandising, Supply Chain, Engineering) or equivalent experience
