True Value Company, one of the world's largest hardlines wholesalers with more than 4,400 independent retailers in over 60 countries, is looking for a Distribution Clerk - 3rd shift  for our Distribution Center in Harvard, IL

Scheduled Days:  Sunday through Friday      

Sunday  9pm to 5am
              Monday through Thursday  10pm to 6am

Starting Pay:  $ 16.00 per hour plus $.70 cents shift differential 

In addition, you be eligible for $1.50 for all hours worked on Sunday.

As a Distribution Clerk, you will perform a variety of clerical, customer service, and administrative duties to support the Harvard Operations. The Distribution Clerk must have at least 1-3 years general office or administrative experience.

Position Description

The Distribution Clerk performs clerical duties including photocopying, compiling records, filing, tabulating, posting information, handling phone calls and distributing mail, applies knowledge of department policies and procedures and utilizes knowledge of the organization and various functions to respond to inquiries or direct work, maintain records, prepares forms and reports, verifies information, and resolves routine problems, provides customer service support as needed and performance of other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications


  • Must have at least 1 -2 years clerical or administrative experience
  • Ability to make decisions to fulfill the daily operational task of the RDC.
  • Must have excellent PC Skills: Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • Experience working with a print que is a plus.
  • Must be capable of working flexible hours.
  • Able to periodically lift-up to 50 pounds.
  • Educational Requirements: High School Degree or equivalent.
