True Value Company is hiring safe, personally driven and dependable associates who are interested in working with an enthusiastic, fast-paced, customer-focused team in our brand new, state of the art, high-volume, multi-shift, Regional Distribution Center (RDC) in Wilkes Barre, PA.

As a Distribution Clerk - 2nd shift, you will perform a variety of clerical, customer service, and administrative duties to support the Wilkes Barre RDC operation.  This position will support Inbound operations.

Scheduled Days:       Sunday throught Thursday
Scheduled Hours:     4pm to 12:30am   must be flexible to work overtime based on business needs

Starting Pay Rate:    $16.00 - $16.50 per hour + $1.00 shift differential

Position Description

The Distribution Clerk performs clerical duties including photocopying, compiling records, filing, tabulating, posting information, handling phone calls and distributing mail, applies knowledge of department policies and procedures and utilizes knowledge of the organization and various functions to respond to inquiries or direct work, maintain records, prepares forms and reports, verifies information, and resolves routine problems, provides customer service support as needed and performance of other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications

  • Excellent mathematical skills.
  • Ability to make decisions to fulfill the daily operational task of the RDC.
  • Administrative or clerical experience desirable.
  • Must have excellent PC Skills: Word and Excel.
  • Experience working with a print que is a plus.
  • Must be capable of working flexible hours.
  • Able to periodically lift 50 pound cartons to print various forms.
  • Educational Requirements: High School Degree or equivalent.
